INGREDIENTS multigrain porridge (83%) (gluten free oats, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, dates, sultanas, rice, buckwheat, cranberries, hazelnut, apple, almond), coconut (chips, milk powder), sour cherries (5.1%), sugar, cocoa (1.3%), salt.

ALLERGENS: see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of other allergens.

This expedition meal is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

BEST BEFORE END (BBE) DATES: typically 6-12 months. If you require meals with specific or long BBE dates please message us either along with your order, or before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate.

We are aware that our BBE dates are shorter than that of many freeze dried meals. This is because we have taken great care to make our meals as healthy as possible, meaning the ingredients we select are naturally dry or dried (e.g. nuts, seeds, herbs, spices, fruits, couscous etc) and so cannot last as long as freeze dried equivalents. Herbs and spices start to lose their flavour after around 12-18 months, nuts can start to sweat, and fruits can start to release their sugars. And so, the shelf life is usually a year or so from production. As we are unwilling to compromise on the quality of our ingredients, we must instead compromise on the shelf life.

Please note that the information provided above reflects the most recent production and that the individual product label should always be checked.

These looked so tasty and healthy

I usually pack my own breakfasts when out hiking, but these looked so tasty and healthy, so I thought I'd try them.

Small light and delicious

Said it all in my main reviews, small light and delicious - I normally hate porridge.

Delicious!

I took one of each of TentMeal's breakfasts with me on the Cleveland Way recently and this one in particular was delicious! I don't think I'd have become bored of it had I taken 8 of these with me.

They're incredibly filling and a great way to start a strenuous day. After eating one of these for breakfast, I could happily walk 20km or more with only a few cereal bars to keep me going. Very often, I'd get to lunch time and not feel like I needed anything.

They're quick to make, easily made in something like a MSR Windburner/Jetboil, and use so little water than you could easily filter it from a stream with a handpump in a minute or two.

If I could change anything, it would be the packaging. You're going to need a Swiss Army Knife or similar handy to get into it, it doesn't tear easily.
