Coronavirus (COVID-19) update
We are pleased to say that we are currently accepting orders as usual. Most orders will be dispatched within 1 working day.
TentMeals have been proving an excellent food during COVID, both as camping food as more people get outdoors, and as a healthy cupboard-food option. Long shelf lives, fantastic nutritional value, and lots of diet-specific options seem to have turned them into coronavirus-food. (Not quite what I expected when I started the company, but then everything is a bit unexpected at the moment..)
We are currently able to dispatch most orders within 1 working day. Couriers are adapting to the huge increase in online shopping, but are still unable to fully guarantee their usual level of service.
UK: Many orders will arrive within their typical time frame. However, to be sure you don't get caught without the food you need, please add 1-3 working days to our typical delivery times.
If you select "Standard Delivery" at checkout, we will send your order with Royal Mail 48. This is an untracked service which usually arrives 2-4 days after you place your order. Currently a lot of orders are taking 3-7 days to arrive because of the huge increase in online shopping.
If you select "Express Delivery" at checkout we will send your order with DPD's next day service. This is a tracked service which usually arrives 1-2 days after you place your order. Currently a lot of orders are taking 2-3 days to arrive because of the huge increase in online shopping.
International: Courier companies are regularly suspending their land based services to Europe because of border problems. Air services are still operational, but are much more expensive for us (and are delayed because so many more parcels are getting sent by air now, and there's also a shortage of flights!). If your order at a time when road closures are in place, we will either send your order by air, or be in touch to discuss the best option.
Please add 1-3 working days to our typical delivery times for the UK part of your parcel's journey, and then also whatever the delivery delays are within your country (unfortunately we cannot predict this). We are sending as many international deliveries with DPD as possible, who we believe to be the most reliable courier company.
If these times are too long, you can also collect your order from Melbourne, Derbyshire, and sometimes also from Crystal Palace, London (especially if you can be flexible with which products we supply).

In addition to our usual strict hygiene measures, people may be interested to know that:
- Our production facility is not part of a large factory. This means we have only 1 person working in the facility, so have no problems regarding social distancing.
- Couriers do not enter our premises. Everything is received and dispatched outdoors.
- We have introduced additional hand washing measures, and facial masks.
- We have requested that our dispatch facility use gloves to pick and pack all orders.
If you are concerned about potential transmission through receiving deliveries, we recommend that you wash all products before use. All of our packaging is water tight, so the products will not be damaged through washing.
